Welcome, our names are Dean and Janie and we formally began our adoption journey on June 10, 2008 with AWAA. Four years ago God gave us a beautiful little girl named Lilliana after more than 6 years of trying for a second child. We also have a beautiful 18 year old daughter Lindsay. With Lilliana's birth came the birth of an overwhelming desire to adopt another child. Of course, we questioned the desire for a good four years as we were and are very happy with the family we have. When we did consider the idea of adopting, we always thought we would adopt a little girl from China, but as we drew closer to actually submitting our application we felt strongly to adopt a little boy from Kazakhstan. So here we are: formally beginning our home study this Tuesday in Franklin, Tennessee August 12, 2008.
